Farm Yard Etiquette

To make your stay more comfortable and to protect the welfare of the animal residents at RiverStone Alpacas, we would appreciate if you could take note of the following:

 1. Please CLOSE the entry gate after you. This is to ensure no stray dogs or non - guests enter the property.

2. Please Do NOT Feed any of our four legged residents at RiverStone Alpacas as we maintain a strict diet for all our animals.

3. Please DO NOT go through to the animal enclosures at any time unless you are accompanied by the owners. This is for your safety and the welfare of the alpacas. We would be happy at any time to arrange a tour of our farm and introduce you to our camelid family.

4. RiverStone residential cats will always find a cosy place to curl up and sleep, please keep your room doors closed when vacant.

5. Smoking Is NOT allowed in any of the buildings. If you do smoke please smoke outside and dispose of the cigarettes in the appropriate cigarette bin.

6. To ensure your room is kept comfortable and clean, we encourage the removal of out door shoes when entering your room.

7. Please do not consume food in your room. We have provided a table in the reception area or sit outside at the ‘Long Table’ and enjoy RiverStone’s peaceful surroundings.

8. Please note: ONLY TOILET PAPER should be flushed down the lavatory. Please use the sanitary bags provided and place in bin. Any other items will block the lavatory!!

9. Breakfast will be served between 8.00am and 9.30am. If you require an earlier breakfast 24 hrs notice is required.

10. Arrival of guests is after 4.00pm. If you require an earlier arrival time, please notify us and we will do our best to meet your needs.

11. Departure from your room is at 10.00am.

12. Vehicles and their contents are left in the parking area at their owner’s risk.

13. NO animals are allowed on the property as we are a working farm.
